ONE OF THE BENEFICIARY SCHOOLS
The Atebubu St. Patrick Roman Catholic Junior High and Amantin Roman Catholic primary schools in the Atebubu-Amantin municipality have been earmarked to benefit from the Smart Classroom project to be implemented by government through the ministry of education.
The Smart Classroom is an Ed-Tech upgraded classroom that enhances the teaching and learning process for both teachers and students through the use of audio, video, animation, images and multimedia among others.
This came to light at the first ordinary meeting of the Atebubu-Amantin municipal assembly for the year in Atebubu.
The municipal chief executive, Hon. Edward Owusu said the project aimed at improving learning outcomes in the affected schools will come with the provision of a teacher laptop computer with a learning management and classroom system, 50 tablets, a projector, content access point, a storage unit and a virtual library.
A coding robotics artificial intelligence kit and curriculum will also be made available whiles teachers will undergo some training to ensure the success of the project. The MCE hoped this will go a long way to improve the level of education in the municipality.
