Caretaker Regional Minister Hon. Kofi Amoakohene visits some schools in Techiman and Nkoranza to see how class pupils are faring on My First Day at School.
The schools visited are
- Techiman M/A primary school
- Techiman St. Paul R/C Primary school
- Nkoranza St. Theresa KG Primary school.
Hon. Amoakohene in all these places welcome pupils who are coming to primary one and the rest of the pupils who are reporting back to school after staying at home for a long time because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
He appealed to the Pupils to adhere strictly to all the protocols of put out by government and the health directorate so as to stay out of the disease
He also advised them to obey their teachers and take their studies serious so as to grow into responsible adults in future.
The Minister and his team including the Chief Director of the Bono East Regional Coordinating Council Mr. George Padmore Mensah, R3gional Director of Education Mrs. Efuah Amoah and a delegation from the Regional health directorate distributed biscuits, calipo, pencils, crayon and exercise books to the class pupils to motivate them to stay in school and learn.
