The committees are mandated to promote the sustainable development of land and human settlements in their various localities through effective planning, coordination and judicious use of land resources.

Performing the inaugurating on behalf of the Bono East regional minister, the Atebubu-Amantin municipal chief executive Hon. Masud Musah Ayarba Thomas said the ceremony is a demonstration of government’s commitment to an institutional collaboration in spatial and land use planning and management adding that effective planning is essential for balanced development, environmental protection and an improvement in the quality of lives of the people.
