The Atebubu Divisional Command of the Ghana Police Service organized a “Happy Hour” event on March 18, 2024, to celebrate officers and strengthen ties with the community. The gathering, which featured music, food, and camaraderie, highlighted the importance of collaboration in maintaining public safety.

Chief Superintendent Caesar Abanga, Atebubu Divisional Commander, thanked the Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Assembly and stakeholders for their support in reducing crime. The event aimed to motivate officers and improve police-community relations.

ACP Oduro Amaning, Bono East Regional Commander, emphasized the need for constructive criticism to enhance police service delivery. He reiterated his office’s openness to collaboration with stakeholders.

The Brongkyempim Band, the regional police band, provided musical entertainment. Attendees, including security personnel and invited guests, enjoyed food and drinks while socializing.

The “Happy Hour” initiative underscores the police service’s commitment to fostering trust and teamwork within the community, contributing to a safer Atebubu.
